Moments & Makeovers was born from personal experience and a deep understanding of how important it is to feel supported at home. Our goal is simple: to support families by caring for their moments and helping their homes feel welcoming, calm, and loved.
My Story
I became a caregiver for my father during his battle with cancer and later for my mother as she lived with dementia. During that time, I learned that caregiving isn’t just about tasks — it’s about presence, patience, comfort, and compassion. It’s about being there in the quiet moments, offering reassurance, and creating a sense of calm and dignity in everyday life.
I also saw how much a warm, well-cared-for home can lift spirits — for families, loved ones, and caregivers alike. A familiar space, thoughtful details, and a comforting environment truly matter.
That experience inspired me to create Moments & Makeovers — a business centered on non-medical sitting and companion services, paired with home decorating that brings comfort, beauty, and peace into the spaces where life happens.
